Do I have a high chance of getting diabetes?
I mean type 2 diabetes, because my grandmother had it im pretty sure she had type 2 and i do eat an excessive amount of sugary foods i have a sweet tooth I am only fifteen and although my diet isnt great i am not overweight and i recently got my blood pressure checked and it seemed to be fine.I also read on the diabetes.org.uk website that it is not true that eating too much sugar causes diabetes, but i was still not sure of this as i have heard so widely that it does.

I'm wondering if I have Diabetes. I even thought I had Hypoglycemia. Every time after I ate food or drank something sweet I would get sick. You know the feeling when you have too many sweets, But I didn't have a lot of sweets. BUT when I started taking multivitamins the symptoms stopped all of a sudden. Why? What was it? And I took blood tests in the past and everything was normal.
What are the symptoms of diabetes?

Does my boyfriend have diabetes?
He had a urine test a few years ago but it came out negative..But it really sounds like he does have it. i am 28 yr old male very healthy. i have been testing my blood sugar cause my wife has it. my fasting on friday was 91 and saturday was 91. today fasting 12 hr was 113 do i now have diabetes? after 2 hr meal it is 99 114 is that diabetes? i have been peeing alot more dr wont test cause i had one in feb and it was 96.does this sound like diabetes?

I am so disappointed in my self, and stunned at the news I rcvd today from my dr. I don't know what to do I am sure it was partly brought on by my very stressful life. Is it possible to be treated for stress with meds while diabetic? I think the med's will help me control my blood sugar since being stressed or angry can make it rise. I AM SOO UPSET. How to stop thinking I have diabetes?
I do not have diabetes, but I cannot stop thinking that I do and I need help to stop thinking I do. A doctor who specializes in diabetes has told me that I do not have the disease. I borrowed a monitor from work and I check my blood sugar religiously and while my blood sugar hovers in the upper 90s to lower 100s, it is never near diabetic range though. I just got over an episode of prostatitis and because of this infection I have started to drink more water. However, every time I drink water I think to myself, oh my God I'm thirsty and think I need more water. I know I'm not actually thirsty, but because I'm thinking I am thirsty, I feel like I am thirsty. Add to that the fact that I am going to the bathroom all the time because of the water I drink and you can see why I think I have diabetes. I took my fasting blood sugar this morning and it was 94. The doctor has told me I don't have it. My meter constantly tells me I don't have it. But, I can't keep thinking I do. How do I stop?? Everytime I drink I think I'm thirsty. Every time I urinate I think it's because of diabetes. How do I stop??

Hi. I know what most of you are going to say. Go ask you doctor, and think about the consequences. I know this...however, I am having so much trouble controlling my eating habits. I have Type 1 diabetes, and I have the hardest time eating healthy. I am currently overweight by about 25 pounds and definitely need to lose some weight. I seem to eat healthy and control my portions during the day, but when I get home at night I just pig out, not necessarily with unhealthy foods, but just a lot, which in turn shoots my blood sugar up. Afterwards, I feel horrible and am so angry at myself. I know that I am killing myself slowly, but I just can not stop eating so much. I really need some suggestions, and anything would help. Thank you for your time
