Blood sugar when on period?
Yesterday I got my period and was feeling ok, but then later I started to feel really sick and my vision started to go all silvery blurry until I could hardly see anything at all, at the same time my hearing was getting quieter and quieter, my temperature went down to 34.5. I went to the hospital and they did blood tests but they couldn't find anything wrong. All I can think of is that it was down to my blood sugar decreasing rapidly, has anyone experienced anything similar?34.5 degrees c means 94.1 fahrenheit
How low does a non-diabetics, Blood sugar get after insulin release?
OK, I am curious to how low a non diabetics blood sugar can get before the body decides bring it back up. Example Fasting Sugar 80, When eating a normal meal and blood sugar rises to 120 then at the 2 hour mark blood sugar drops to what before the body responds by using the stored glycogen.I have reason to believe I am suffering from Reactive hypoglycemia, I have had only one result come back under 60mg. All other tests have shown the lowest I usually go is 65... with a normal fasting blood sugar between 70 and 85. In the 60's is usually when i feel sluggish and wishwashy. but still coherent just exhausted and sometimes a headache. So the big question... is it out of the ordinary for a non diabetic to drop into the 60's after a meal? for like a short whole and then the body picks it back up into the normal range?excuse my randomness.
Low Blood Sugar - Blood Test Results?
Hi all,Recently I have been feeling very run down, tried all the time, aching bones, feeling nausea and unmotivated. I went to my doctor and did a blood test. The doctor gave me the all clear, but did say that I had low blood sugar, but not diabetes. He said I must of just missed breakfast, which I did. But I did go out for lunch and had a steak and choc cake for dessert atleast one hour prior to the taking of blood for the blood test. I would have thought this sugar would have already entered my blood by this time and would show in the blood test? I am wondering should I take another blood test in case I do have Diabetes and the first test is wrong.
